Get your luxe on..

When I signed on for this press trip, I initially signed up for the wellness part. I have been to Egypt once before, 4 years ago and experienced their spa part. Good price and good massage!

The first planned opportunity was when we stayed in Luxor. After a rather long and warm day we were pretty much ready for getting pampered and getting our luxe on. We got rushed into the bus to go to Steigenberger Hotel only minutes away from our own hotel, located and the bank of the Nile. A 5 star hotel with its own spa at the top. This spa is run by a Finish lady, she offers massage room, sauna and steam room.

Look how happy we were…. although I think we are both happy, feeling relaxed and pretty pumped. This was a quick experience. We were rushed in and then out. But in the end we got a quick mini massage and boy was that good. This is of course not how they do it. Usually it takes place in a more relaxed environment, but this was part of the press trip delegation and program.

This next experience of luxe I arranged for my self at our stay in Hurghada. After feeling sick and not being able to do to much a few of us decided to give the hotel spa a go.

After all what is a little wellness and luxe feeling to a tired and drained body? – pure luxe if you ask me. At the Jaz Aquamarine Resort we got the full on treatment. steam and sauna room, swimming pool, fish tank (no way I am going in there) and the full body scrub followed by a 40 minutes massage. Pure heaven. I feel I am at a stage where I can get the time to really enjoy a good massage and I feel that it does the body good. Very good. Should you ever find your way to Hurghada and the Jaz aquamarine Resort this is definitely a good to go place for some me time and luxe.
