The green green grass of home

Summer is a truly magical time here in the south west of Norway. Long long nights (not quite the midnight sun but close) with only a few hours of dark before the sun again raises. And green for as long as you can see.

There is no better place than home, when it is as good as this. Oh the green green grass of home…

I swear late summer, there are places that look exactly like the region of tuscany. Rolling hills and the green farm lands. There is something soothing about this landscape.

I still remember the sight coming back from the US, California in the late 90´s and looking down at the green green grass down below from the plane late June. Priceless… Sometimes you really have to leave home to appreciate what you have.
