Nordic Surf Games

As I sit here and write the clock ticks toward 6PM and it is still daylight outside. It is a lovely feeling. For to long the darkness has been here and it warms my heart and soul to see the daytime get even longer. I truly detest winter in Norway and come January I feel the ever winter blues coming along. It stroke this year as well…. but slowly letting go…

I have written about our Nordic local beaches many times. Love them! They are also my kind of picker upper. My little sanctuary.

It warms my heart to see and learn that Nordic Surf Games came back to Bore Beach this past week. Surf was on 10-14th of February. I went to see for my self this Saturday.

Great weather for a walk. Sunny and crisp. But unfortunately for the Surfers at Nordic surf games the waves did not show its best at least not for this weekend. Good thing they got a good Nordic surf earlier this week when the wind gave them just what they needed.

Hope to see them back next year, we really need to see these kind of activities more often. So a big way to go for the organizers at Scandinavia’s biggest Surf competition – Nordic Surf Games.! we love you
