Stay: Iberotel Boltenhagen
Welcoming us for our very first day at the Baltic sea. The Iberotel Boltenhagen is situated right at the ocean front, and the harbour of Boltenhagen. Perfect for slow days at the beach, at the spa or just for the weekend.
It is late April and driving into this sea resort is a great pleasure. Golden fields of rapeseed shines towards us from a bright blue sky. Along with the typical country three avenues. Just gorgeous.
The outside area contains of a big parking space, and coming here you would need your car. The hotel resort is a little outside the city center, and that makes it what it is. A beautiful place to relax, take some time off, watch the sun set and maybe even enjoy som spa time.
191 rooms including 12 suites is at offer if you make you way here. We were greeting with a glass of bubbly at arrival (you got me right there) while waited in the big lobby for checking in.
The surrounding area contains of the resort are beautiful. Helped along with the good weather that strikes us. The pier, bike rentals, mini golf. tennis court. There is a lot do in the area. And if you need to change locations hop on that bike and head for the little town minutes along the beach promenade.
The hotels own restaurant got tested for dinner at is even listed in the Michelin red book. Unfortunately though they have no menus in English as we often encounter on these part of Germany.
The food though was super good and the selection for breakfast also served in the same restaurant impecceble. A very big selection to every ones taste.
The Iberotel Boltenhagen is a upscale hotel that goes perfect for a girls getaway with Bubbly and spa or even a couples weekend. It is a quiet little oasis. And for the ones who want to be active and eat well this would be the perfect choice. I did not get to test the spa area my self unfortunately, that has to be saved for another visit.
