The streets of London
Just home from a short week in London. A good 2 hours away from home, It really is not far to get some big city vibe. And while being here I took some time off to just walk the London streets. Sunday was my day.. The sky was clear, the sun was out.. At least for a few hours. A perfect winter day!
I took the tube to Covent garden for some much needed shopping. And I had already decided to visit Neal´s Yard. It did not disappoint at all.
Despite the cold, Neal´s yard is bright and colourful and you simply can´t stop feeling happy when arriving. I highly recommend coming here and take time to have a coffee/tea or something to eat. Why not both?
Mr. Grumpy is ditched for this solo trip. And really I do not feel ashamed to say I love to have some alone time, and some blog time. I came to London to attend the WTM – The travel fair at Excel. But I came in early and had a day to my self to wander and explore London like I never have had time to do before. There are some very spectacular neighbourhoods to explore here.
I had some spare time and went on to Notting hill, just because I know there are some really colourful streets there. Thanks to Instagram! Portobello road here I come…
London, I see I have to come back in not to long.. more photo safari is needed. Do you have any recommended areas/neighbourhoods?
I know for sure the area around Greenwich has to be explored even more.
So long Britain, hope we have a rendezvous in not to long
