Sunset dreams in Assens

We headed for the ocean for a night out.

Going to the coast takes about 20 minuets by car from Aarup. And you go by traveling the narrowest cutest roads straight to the city. And even Assens has an old part of town. The well known white and black houses with their rose bushes outside. Just charming… and very Danish ♥

The recommendation was a buffet restaurant down by the ocean. Not worthy a recommendation in my book. Restaurant Maagen had the smallest kind of buffet I have ever seen. Compare it with the price and I would say it is just not worth it. The view though… priceless! With its location right on the beach you get a killer view to the sunset. Mmmm That sunset. My favorite.

We took an evening stroll after dinner and walked along the beachside

A beautiful and peaceful evening just strolling along the beach feeling the warm summer evening while the sun sets. For a summer hungry Norwegian this is pure bliss!

And to topp is off – the last piece of the sunset heading back to Aarup.
