Taste of…. Summer
It´s the last day of July. And with August knocking on our door so is fall. It won´t be long until we again long for bright summer nights. Walking barefoot and looking back on the fun we had.
For me the taste of summer is all of that, plus Strawberries. There is just nothing like strawberries. For me the ultimate summer berry.
Let´s make something good for these last summer days. I recently came upon a recipe that combine both strawberries and Prosecco. Another one of my favourite one.
This one is very easy to make with only 3 ingredients. Made in the matter of minutes. Let´s give it a go.
You will need:
- A basket of fresh strawberries
- One lemon
- A bottle of Prosecco (or you choice of bubbly)
First you wash and make a puree of your strawberry. I just used a blender to make it easy. Add juice of the lemon and if you prefer it a little sweet a spoon of suger.
Put a couple of spoons of the strawberry jam into glasses and top with the Prosecco.
Easy peasy… Enjoy!
If you prefer to make this one into a alcohol free Cocktail instead. Replace the Prosecco with soda water or lemon soda.
